Mimicking the sounds of musical instruments like Ella Fitzgerald, fusing the nostalgic feelings of genres like R&B and Soul with Jazz and Gospel, while captivating the hearts and genius minds of legends like Prince. Y'all, meet singer, songwriter and composer, Eryn Allen Kane, hailing from Detroit. Her music is timeless (Is it too early to tell?), innovative and truly of work of art; and Kane's single, "Piano Song", has made a permanent spot on my commuting playlist. The influences of Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Prince and Patti LaBelle permeate through the singles from her debut EP, Aviary - Act 1.
